Welcome to the fourteenth issue of rumble.
This issue brings together several diverse and talented writers new to rumble. We hope you enjoy their stories and poems. The author of Sam returns after a long hiatus with her second micro fiction story. Welcome back, Memphis.
Our sister website the Micro Fiction mini site has been updated with links to a number of new web magazines, personal sites, and articles on micro and flash fiction. This is the only site devoted to the Micro Fiction form. You may find it useful.
A couple of new online resources for you: Yotophoto is an search engine for finding free images for your website or blog. We tried it the other day and found it incredibly fast. Some of the images included in this issue were found using this search engine. Pixoh is the best online image editor by far. It's new and extremely user friendly. If you're caught away from your home computer and need to get an image web-ready, Pixoh will come to your rescue.
Matt Bell is one of the writers at Dancing on Fly Ash, the Micro Fiction weblog. He has written a nice article on the topic of Micro Fiction, and it can be found here.
We are planning a Best Of e-book release for our second anniversary issue. Ten stories and two poems chosen by our editors as representing the best of rumble. If you have a favorite we'd like to hear from you.
